Consider the following during a house viewing

1. During the house viewing make some notes so you can review and compare them with other houses you have visited at a later date.
2. Spend time to tour the whole property both inside and outside dont just rush in and out, remember this is one of the biggest decisions you will make and you want to make sure you get it right.
3. Ask for some private time to tour the house or flat so you can have a good look around.
4. Have a list of questions you want to ask the buyer prepared before you visit the house or flat.
5. Create a list of items you want to check during the house visit including fixtures and fittings, central heating, double glazing, structural damage like cracks in ceilings and walls, damp smell, brickwork.
6. Ask what will be included in the sale for example curtins, carpets, light fittings and so on.
7. If work was recently completed on the home for example new extension, house rewire, central heating, widowns, path ask to see the guarantees.
8. Ask to see the home information pack .
9. If you forgot to ask the buyer a question during the house viewing contact them by phone to confirm any outstanding questions or concerns you may have.
